Just applied for the NOVA Nursing Program for the Fall of 2022!
When decision letters come in let us know if you made it or not, and if you're comfortable, what your grades, TEAS scores, and completion of co-requisites look like.

This forum is a place to share comments, questions, or concerns for NOVA's Nursing Program.

And if you're currently in the NOVA Nursing Program right now then please feel free to share your stats that got you into the program as well! ?

Good luck everyone!!

Just submitted my application as well!! How were your TEAS score if you don’t mind me asking?

I applied a few weeks ago too! My overall TEAS was an 84.7%. Reading was an 89.4%, Math was 93.8%, English and language usage was a 91.7%, however science was a 66.0%. I'm really hoping that my other scores make up for that one though LOL.

I got a 93.8% on the Math section, an 80.9% on the Reading section, a 79.2% on the English section, and a 53.2% on the Science section ?

Has anyone heard anything?? I got my acceptance letter!!

I got my acceptance letter sometime this week. My overall TEAS score was only 74.8%. I was surprised when I got my acceptance letter. I thought no way they gonna accept me.

Same!! Mine was a 74.7% I didn’t believe it was real. Did your acceptance letter have your name on it? Mine didn’t, which I would think they would have included it since you don't know who the letter is for without the email. But congrats!! ?

Mine didn’t either. At some point I thought they sent the email to the wrong person ?

Congratulations to you too! Maybe in the future we will be classmates

Could you possibly share your stats with me? Like anything in particular that made you stand out since I know its extremely competitive, I am planning to apply in the next cycle, I have my bachelors & associates, overall GPA is 3.2 but for some of the pre-reqs I have some C's and I have yet to take the TEAS test. Thank you

Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys could give an insight of what grades and goad you guys had besides your TEAS scores, I want to apply for the Spring 23, my GPA is 3.3 and I mostly had Bs and a couple As

Which classes did you complete and what were your final grades in them?

Did you get accepted?

I don’t think it’s that competitive, otherwise I won’t be able to get in with 74%TEAS scores.

The only course I got a C was AP1, I repeated it and got a A. PSY230 I got a B, SDV B. All the rests are As. My overall GPA is 3.84.
I went to a open house event and I was told by a nursing student that AP and Microbiology grades were more important than TEAS. If you can get all As in AP1, AP2, and Microbiology then you are in a good position. If you can also get above 87%TEAS scores your application will be very competitive.
PS: If you already have a bachelors degree you can go to a four year college and get your nursing degree in one year. I forgot what’s the program called but I know Mason has it.
