unfortunately no additional information online that I could find. I spoke to one of their general admission people who explained a little bit that the classes are all 7 weeks and pretty much self paced. you get your assignments and it's up to you to complete them all within the 7 weeks.
there is zero on campus visits required, if you're not too far from nku they have a list of potential preceptor sites nearby. also told me that if you enroll for the 2nd part of the fall quarter that begins in October you get a $7,000 scholarship from the school to use for tuition. I wouldn't be able to find out anything more specific unless I got accepted and spoke to one of the nursing advisors.
All in all I decided to avoid nku as I don't believe 7 weeks is enough time to properly cover important topics like advanced pharm or advanced patho and felt like I'd basically be paying for a syllabus and teaching myself.
I started back in August. I'm completing my first 7 weeks. The support in my class is wonderful. I'm having a hard time getting in touch with an advisor. The classes are really like any other online class. You get what you put into it. You can read the lectures/book reading in depth and really understand the material or you can skim through stuff and get by. My lecture class has two professors and they both have been super nice.

Trying to find any first hand knowledge on NKU's online MSN program set up. How the classes were presented, professor support, would you recommend the programs, I'm interested in the acute care NP Program specifically.
