Northern California RN new grad jobs??

Published

I have been searching high and low for hospitals in Northern California that have new grad programs. I realize they likely don't have any openings now, but does any one know of any good hospitals in NorCal I can keep my eye on? So far I'm watching Catholic Healthcare West, UC Davis, Stanford hospital, and Sutter Health. Also, does any one know the best way to look for Kaiser new grad jobs in NorCal? They're website kinda sucks. Thanks!

Wish I had seen your post sooner. Kaiser doesn't hire new grads - you must have at least a year of experience. I believe it is part of their collective bargaining agreement. Do a search of NorCal hospitals and you will find there are many outside of what you have already listed. That's how I found Dameron Hospital. In fact, Dameron Hospital just opened an RN residency program with a filing date by July 24th. It's located in Stockton, and is a stand-alone acute care facility. Good luck!

Kaiser will hire new grads, if you have a connection to someone that already works there. It's very rare though.

Has anyone compiled an up to date list of hospitals with nurse residencies or know of a searchable database?

Here's a good resource I found -

American Association of Colleges of Nursing | Nurse Residency Program
