Didn't see a thread for the NEU DNP-NA application. Was wondering if anyone is applying this cycle!
Anyone have any follow up in terms of whether all the seats are filled? I interviewed in the first week and although I'm trying to hold out hope, it looks bleak. Haven't heard yes or no or anything about a waitlist, just wondering if anyone else had. I had thought someone posted here that we'd know by September but here we are. Also, does anyone know if you are a "no" and not even on the waitlist, will they tell you that or is it just radio silence?
Hello everyone, congratulations on your acceptances! I'm a current applicant for the Summer 2025 cohort and I have an interview coming up later this month. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share any recommendations or resources of what they used to prepare for this interview? This is my first (and hopefully last!) interview so I really want to prepare the best I can 🙂
Hi, I am currently in the program and can give some feedback. NU traditionally focuses more on emotional intelligence, but a clinical question is always a potential. In general, be familiar with:
-WHY you want to go to CRNA school
-Talk about your experience (Leadership, difficult situations, what coworkers would say about you [good AND bad], EBP in your work)
-Potential DNP project ideas
-Know your drugs (pressors, inotropes, sedation, etc). Know down to what receptors these interact with, how they work, dose range and when to use which.
-Always remember when you talk about a clinical scenario ANYTHING you mention is on the table for more questions. For example: don't mention Precedex and not be able to tell them what receptor it acts on, or sepsis and not be able to explain what it is down to the cellular level.
-Don''t be afraid to say you don't know, trying to lie to experts in their field is not a good look.
-Be yourself! Stay humble but confident. Your resume got you here, now they are trying to see how you would fit in with a new cohort.
Some resources: CRNA School prep academy podcast and website. Has good episodes on interview prep and some questions available for download. I attached older versions below.
Good luck!

Hi! I was wondering if you know if anyone in your class or recent classes have gotten off the waitlist? Don't know if I should hold out hope? Thanks!
