Hi, I actually just responded to another thread about this under general nursing discussion. I applied for adult/gero. You? And I haven't heard anything yet. I'd you apply to any other direct entry programs? I read somewhere that Northeastern only accepts 25 students out of 400! So I'm trying not to get too excited.
Hi, I applied to the psych NP program. I haven't heard anything either. I am not surprised because I heard they start interviewing in early-mid Feb (at least in the past 2 years). I have heard similar things about the accepance rates!! I wish they posted more stats on their website about acceptance....where else did you apply?
I also applied to boston college and mgh because they all have the adult/gero specialty. Out of the three schools I probably know the least about northeastern! I am not crazy about how long the program is either. I know I want to be an np but northeastern has you working for 6-9 months as an RN first. I'd prefer to just go straight through the program.
Hey guys. So I got an e-mail a few weeks ago for an interview. It was supposed to be today at 10AM, but I never got a call. I tried calling her office but it took me to someone else's office, so I ended up e-mailing her. I don't know if this is an indication of NU's disorganization, but I'm hoping nothing went wrong T.T
You already got an email about an interview? Wow that's fast, since the application was due December 1st. I didn't think they started interviewing till the end of January or February. Let us know if you hear anything else! I also got the impression that the office was a bit disorganized when I called a couple of times just asking general questions about the program and the application.

It's a little early but I just wanted to start this to see if anybody has heard from Northeastern University regarding an interview or decision. All posts about the school/application and acceptance process welcomed!! Looking forward to hearing from some people!
