Hi everyone! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone else who applied to the Northeastern Direct Entry Program for 2021!

Hi! I was just reading through this thread but just wanted to provide some info in case it could be helpful ? 

I just received an email last week for an interview, and was offered one for this week. I also applied to the FNP track but I'm not sure if they're planning to schedule interviews of applicants in sections every couple of weeks, but I know that that was a method of other universities I applied to!

Thanks for the info! I haven’t been asked for an interview yet, hopefully I will get an invite in the next few weeks!

I just got asked for an interview now as well for this week so hopefully they’re still setting those up! 

If anyone already had the interview and would share what they asked/ any pointers I would appreciate it!

I just had my interview and the director admitted they noticed a lot of applicants didn’t have any communication and they’re trying to work on that but after the interview said I should hear back in about a week.

Thank you! It went pretty well, it was mostly her giving me info about the program and changes they’re making and any questions I had. She asked me why northeastern and why NP but felt more like a conversation than questioning so it was really comfortable! I hope they continue to reach out to everyone!

Congrats on the interview!! I still haven't heard anything from Northeastern. When they told you a lot of applicants didn't have any communication, were they talking about interview invites?

I think she meant in general. The person I specifically spoke to said she is new to her role and admissions process in the direct entry program and that communication wasn’t great to applicants so I’m not sure

any updates? anyone else in the same boat and haven’t heard anything? I’m wondering if I should contact someone

In my interview they said a decision should be sent out next week and it was this past Tuesday
