I just interviewed in person but the FNP director offered phone as well. Be prepared to ask questions and the conversation is based of your questions.
great interview experience, I learned a great deal about the program that I hadn’t from the website and the open house. The director says they will accept about 12-20 to the FNP track based on number of applicants

Hi! I applied to Northeastern acute NP and simmons FNP! I got an email this morning that my simmons application is under review, i submitted both nov 15, but havent heard anything from Northeastern yet! Best of luck to everyone!

I applied for the Psych MH NP specialty but haven't heard back. Did anyone else apply for Psych MH?

I was told by admissions that you don’t need to be interviewed to be accepted. Some people are directly admitted while others have to be interviewed first. They also said they are not sending out requests to interview all at once, it sounds like they are sending them out in the order they received applications.

Based on my convos with admissions and what they said at their open house, whether or not they interview depends on the specialty. And they aren’t sending interview invited based on application dates because I know someone who interviewed last week that submitted closer to the deadline and I also interviewed last week but I submitted 10/1

Hi guys - I received an email from the FNP director about setting up a phone interview for that specialty track this week! I submitted my application November 14th. To those of you who already had phone interviews, did they give you any idea of when you'd hear of acceptance into the program?

I had my interview today for the pediatric track and she said they were finishing up interviews this week and acceptances would be sent out either next week or the 1st week of january

Oh dang that's soon!!

any idea if they release all the acceptances at once or just by specialty?

i’m not 100% sure but I wanna say it’s by specialty. The PNP Director said she would send the school her recommendations after finishing interviews and then the school would send out the perspective emails

I agree this what the fnp director sounded like. She also said there would be a “quick turnaround” and susan Gallagher (Program director) would be emailing out decisions
