Has anyone ever worked in either of these states? As a general rule, is the pay decent, staff welcoming? I know it varies agency to agency and hospital to hospital. But as a general rule, are these two states good to work in? Thanks

I've worked in both, no issues to report. Other than perhaps Texas and Las Vegas, it is hard to characterize a large area as bad. Both are southern states, so lower pay that other states in general. I didn't notice attitude by the docs there that I have seen in Florida and heard about in other parts of the South. Your mileage may vary of course.

I'd love to go to Charleston, SC. Maybe just for vacation as I'm sure the pay is quite low. I'm guessing it's low 20s. I know a couple who are at Duke in NC and they like it.
