Greetings, smiley28! I went in for an interview this week for the Critical Care Fellowship. I'm not quite sure what a "good sign" would be in terms of the probability of getting a callback for the next step. For anyone who has successfully made it through the entire process, what were the good signs that you noticed?
I experienced their ED and really didn't like it for many reasons. Do your research ahead and ask those that work on the unit questions before diving in.
Thanks for sharing your experience cgun101! I truly want to join their critical care team and I'm humbly bracing myself for all of the lumps and bumps in between.:) If I'm fortunate to be chosen for this wonderful opportunity, I can't wait to just immerse myself in such a dynamic environment with my fellow nursing colleagues.
thanks for your reply! I have also applied to both fellowships as well as many other positions at NSLIJ, but have not received an interview appointmentI guess I have not been chosen for consideration. Best of luck to you CerseiRN!!!
Thank you very much smiley28! I really really hope that everything works out in the end! It would be such a wonderful experience. I would say keep applying every 2 weeks. I can't verify why (can't find a link or any additional sources) but I believe the whole process resets itself every 2 weeks on the NSLIJ system.
Could anyone please share with me what the know how North Shore LIJ?? I am a nursing student from Massachusetts looking to relocate in the area and came across their Nurse fellowship program. I am interested in their ED fellowship. Thanks for any information or any info to point me in the right direction to find things like accreditation or things of that sort.
