Hi,
I am an internationally graduate nurse with 5 years of experience in Emergency setting and planning to take the NCLEX in December.. Can anybody give me idea of any hospital in North Las Vegas that I can possibly apply to? How is it like working in Las Vegas? Is Nevada having concurrency issues too? Thank you for all your contributions to answer my queries! =)

Yes, there are not only issues with the concurrency rules, but you'll find there are other problems that's within our PH schooling that can reject an application. It really depends on what comes across from your college's transcripts and what it may have or not have. We have seen those lacking clinical hours, missing courses, needing to take a physical assessment class, etc.
Here's someone's posting on AN of their denial letter due to the concurrency: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a8rfzr8jw2q8yvw/Anjinjan.jpg

There's some discussion that some need to take IV courses.
Thanks steppybay... Oh my it sucks big time to be denied of the application.. Scaring the **** out of me to even wait for the ATT... Anyway, do you have any idea how long does these kind of short courses usually last?
The courses are fairly short, from a week to a few. But by chance, did you get your BSN in 2004 or earlier? Not sure if NV is like CA in which CA seems ok with the waiver of the concurrency for the older grads, as we've seen some grad that got thru CA by endorsement for being an earlier grad.
