Hi ! Has anyone had any experience with this school ???
I am considering applying... not sure whether I should start out with an LVN program or go straight to the RN program. what's the best route ??
Im in the Conroe area. Graduated with a MA in Counseling 2 weeks ago but counseling to me is in a word boring. :imbar It doesn't stimulate me and I don't feel as though I am "helping" or effective.
Thanks in advance.

I went to NH for 1 year to get my pre-reqs for nursing school. I'm in the accelerated bach program at UT-Houston.
I really liked NH. The science department is GREAT!! I have nothing but good things to say about the caliber of classes and professors there. There is a waiting list for the RN program. You need to make sure you have good grades in the classes they look at- AND you need to have as many classes as you can FINISHED by the time you apply.
Good Luck!

I have heard some good things about NHCC, tons of people I know have gone there and are sure-fire certain that NHCC is one of Houston's finest for ADN. I wish you the best of luck whichever route you take... bottom line, there's a shortage and we need nurses NOW!!! God Bless you.

This is where I am going right now....I am only taking pre-req's right now. But I am gonna attempt to apply in March for Fall 2005, although I hear the competition is very tough. My first choice is Montgomery College, but you can put down a 2nd and 3rd choice too. I live in the Oak Ridge area.
Good luck!

:) Even though I am very glad that I am out of nursing school and have to retake the NCLEX, the school did a very good job of preparing you to be a great nurse. My first choice would be North Harris or Montgomery College, however, with the nursing school shortage I would apply everywhere in the Houston area. They have a very high passing percentage compared to the other ADN programs in the area.
The only problem is, those schools are so far...where did you go? What other schools in Houston do you know about?
Thanks!
wow , it's a small world ~!
Im taking Micro and Anat in Mont. in the fall. I have all the other pre reques (except anat. 2 which I will take in the Spring, God willing I get accepted.
Let's all keep in touch. :)
