I have been working as a trauma scrub nurse for two months now, I'm 31 and it is my first job as a qualified nurse. I really want to have my second baby sooner rather than later, but when does this seem sensible. Should I put job first or my family. Any advice would be gratefully received.Also I'm worried regarding the constant x-rays that are being taken throughout most procedures everyday, not sure what will happen.

Only you can decide what comes first: job or family. Have you talked to your spouse about it?

You should be wearing lead aprons/shields if you're within distance of the x-rays being taken.
