I believe when I applied my essay was a little over 1.5 pages. There isn't a page limit but be sure to answer all the questions they ask. I am finishing up my first semester here at Watts and absolutly love it. The program is intense and very hands on. I personally believe the price is worth it for the experiences I've had and the connections I've made already as a first semester student. I'd encourage you to go to an open house if you haven't already to get questions answered and take a tour of the school.

I believe my essay was about 2 pages, simply because that was just how much was necessary to exemplify my point. Just make sure it's a reflection of you and addresses that you are away of the trials and tribulations of nursing .

BioChick - how were your pre-requisites? I am starting mine in June 2017! Also what was your first semester schedule like? I'm so excited to start!

Pre reqs were a breeze. Real basic stuff. I took College algebra, developmental psych, interpersonal psych, health safety and nutrition, focus on health, and Sociology. The first semester went a lot smoother than I expected. The professors really want to be sure you succeed and my class quickly became my family.

I applied this past week and mine was about 2 or 2 and half pages. In the info session, she said it didnt matter how short it was as long as you answer the questions and convey your answers well. I wouldnt go super long though; not more than 3 pages.

Do anyone know how many pages my essay have to be to submit with my application for the Watts School of Nursing school?
Is there any updated 2016 reviews from Watts Schoolof Nursing students on here? I really want to go to the school, but the different good and bad reviews is making me question if the price worth it.

How long did it take you to get a response from them? Did they send you a background check form first? Ive heard on here that if you get that, youre pretty much in.

Hey!! I got the background check back 1st- it took about 2 days, but I live right here is Durham so thye didn't have to mail it to far. Getting all of my transcripts in took the longest because one of my schools really dropped the ball. After everything was received it only took about a week to get the final acceptance. Good Luck!
