U.S.A. North Carolina

I am so depressed and frustrated. I just cut off my cell phone, my cable and about to cut off my internet connection. I have no job and I am a single parent. What am I going to do? I feel so disappointed! I cry everyday and still searching for a job. It seems like all the doors are closed on me. God where are you????? I can't take it anymore, I feel like a loser!

Here are some tips

Look beyond the big hospitals and apply at doctor offices, check your area for city nurse jobs, check with the LTC facilities, school system, and if you are able to commute look as far as possible like 1 hour away. Also look for any type of position in the hospital that you are qualified for, it may not be nursing but I bet once you get in it may be easier to find a position that fits your needs also which I think is a must utilize your instructors and school. Best of Luck to you. You will get a job as a Nurse!

How about some details.

What job are you looking for? CNA, LPN, RN???

Where in North CarolinA are you looking?

Specializes in LTC, PCU, Med/Surg, Hospice, OBGYN.

If you are a New Grad LPN or RN, there is temporary work needed for national flu clinics with Mollen Immunization Clinics. They have 4 - 12 week assignments and welcome New Grads. I know it's only short term, but it's much needed money that you can use right now ($22/hr for RNs) and it will give you some hands on experience that you can use on your resume.

This was so long ago. I got a job the same year and went on to do my MSN. I am so marketable. Just remember, "He who laughs last, laughs best". Don't ever believe a person will not rise above his present situation. Everything in life is connected to the proper timing. Abraham and Sarah had to wait 25 years for the birth of Isaac!!

How did you go about your MSN in NC?
