Hello everyone, I have just recently graduated from high school with my diploma from NC. Although, I was suppose to graduate with both Associate's Degree in Science and high school diploma, I had to move to CA due to life crisis.
My high school was a college prep school that provided free college classes for students to gain experience and college credits. Basically be ahead of the game. Our school shared campus with a community college to make that possible.
My original intentions were to aim for the nursing program in that community college after I graduate with my Associates. However, as I have mentioned, I had to give up my associates due to life crisis.
My goal is to get into nursing here in California, but I was told that the programs here are ALL LOTTERY SYSTEM. I was very saddened at the realization. Nonetheless, I still have some hope that not all schools are lottery based.
If you guys could be so kind, please help provide me with some schools that are not lottery based. Both private or public.
I am currently settled in the Sacramento area, I am willing to relocate for the school.
Thanks.

Use your obvious internet skills and start looking. Most nursing programs have a fair amount of information on their websites, or at the very least, contact information.

I'm from SoCal and some schools are lottery based, while others are based on point system. The best thing to do is research the different community colleges in California. I know schools in SoCal such as MSJC, San Diego city, Palomar, etc are based on point system, while schools such as Cerritos, etc are lottery based. You can use the rn.ca.gov website to help with your search.
