Hi! I am a graduate of the RN Residency program of AFPMC It's true! it's free, no allowance, 6 months clinical experience. Even though you won't get any form of compensation, working there had been a great pleasure. I was assigned in 3 different wards. Cardiovascular (my fave!) OB and Ophthalmology. all of which are very relevant, you will really use all your nursing skills here, even up to the limit! There is also a chance to get assigned in OR, ONCO, RENAL (DIALYSIS included) Psyche and Neuro! If you want to kick start your and didn't want to pay for expensive post grad training, maybe this is where you should start :) Afterall, a hired staff nurse and an RN Resident have the same job description, sometimes RN res' have to do more than that... Goodluck sir :)[/quote']

Are they still accepting applicants up until now? Thanks!

To the OP... You are aware that Canadian regulatory bodies and employers do not count volunteer work as nursing experience, aren't you?
