No rehire !!!!!!!!!!

Can I ask everyone which hospitals in Dallas have the practice of labelling their employees as No rehire?

If there is no offence on the part of the employee and they served their notice period but left the organization before 6 months , can they still do that?

This happened to a friend of mine who happened to work at a hospital for 15 years. She left on good terms to explore travel nursing. She found out as she was applying with travel agencies between assignments ( which most travelers do) that the hospital had put her down as a do not rehire. She contacted an attorney due to she had excellent performance reviews and had never been disciplined. Yet this hospital labeled her as a do not rehire. It was quickly rescinded when the attorney contacted HR at the hospital and asked for her personnel file and for them to show just cause for the label of do not rehire. No she wasn't "owed" a job but she also had done nothing wrong and this was impacting her in finding employment. Yes this was in an "At Will State."

Most excellent. That is precisely what I would do if I experienced this.
