Isnt there a program that i can input my Oasis data into?
It seems to me that I should be able to:
Is that to simple of a idea or does every home health agency need a staff of five non medical clerical data imputers trying to read my writing and then me having to follow behind (for free of course since I am per visit only) and correct there imput errors.
I just am getting very frustrated :angryfireand fed up with the seemingly repetition and waste of time this paper oasis is causing!! ITS SENT TO MEDICARE ONLINE!! I SHOULD BE ABLE TO WRITE THE DATA ONE TIME!!!
But as of now i am spending 3-6 hrs a week correcting and verifiy my SOC's. ARGH and i dont get paid for it!!!
Help

Non clinical cannot interpret what you mean if it is not legible. It is not in their scope. I had nurses say that all the time. I don't know what to say but write better. Sorry. I have had calls on my writing myself/big smile. I am glad they call rather than have something incorrect entered on my behalf. In reality they are an extention of you helping you get your job done. Maybe that helps looking at it that way. When I started in home care in the early 90s the RNs did their own 485, 486s (don't do them anymore) and overflow 487s... I am glad to not have to do that anymore.........big smile.
I have not been able to work with a company that can afford any time of point of service technology.
