Hi all! I just graduated May 16th and have scheduled my NCLEX for July 3rd (that was the soonest I could do it). I am flat broke, we are fixing to have to move and I haven't found a job yet and I just don't have $200-$300 for a review course, of course I don't have another $200 to throw out there if I fail NCLEX either. I was just wondering if the reviews were really very helpful to ya'll? I have a friend that graduated last May that went to several different ones as well as a tutor and has given me multiple study materials. What are ya'lls thoughts on this? Any ideas on any other resources that might be helpful? Thanks a bunch, I am so nervous about not going to a review!

You have to burn the midnight oil to get yourself prepared, so just buy a review book and do it yourself. Saunders Comprehensive Review is used by many successfully. Or you can browse through the review books at the bookstore and find another that you like. Do as many questions as possible and study the rationales. Relax the day before the test. Good luck.

Hi Heather,
If I were in your shoes (actually, I am--money is tight!) I wouldn't take the NCLEX review. Since you lack the money for the course, how about you study a Saunders guide? That is one of the best review guides I have come across. Sometimes we can only take advantage of what we have readily available to us. That's fine!
