Hi,
Does anyone have any thoughts or comments on the National Nurses in Business Association, Inc. vs. the National Association of Independent Nurses?
thankx,

Why do you ask? Are you looking to only participate with one?

We answered this question for you, back in October. Here is the link:

NAIN, not impressive IMO. Big start up cost and they will not allow LPN's to join.
NNBA, I have been a member and they can be helpful depending on where you need assistance.
Both have websites (try a Google Search). Before you have to join NNBA, you can talk to the president, Pat at her 800 number for specific info.
I hope that helps...
Sort of. The NNAB is offering a 'Self-Employment 101' course on CDs with modifiable documents for a few hundred dollars.
The NAIN had published a couple of books covering much of the same infomation, insurance, contracts, tax stuff, etc., For about $50. I have since found out these books are out of print.
I was just looking for something I could customize without having to reinvent the wheel.
Just FYI, Imade my living as a freelance commerical artist in NYC for 15 years back in the dark ages before desktop publishing so I know something of self-employment.

I PM'd you regarding the CD's offered by NNBA; last I heard, they offered them for free with the membership (about $100).
I hope that helps.
