Hi guys,
I might be posting this in the wrong part of the site! (so please forgive me if I am). I am an Irish nurse who wants to transfer her license to Ontario. I have started all the paperwork and sent everything to the NNAS but having read a lot of people's experiences with the NNAS I'm worried that my qualifications won't be comparable for an RN, despite having my BSc! It seems that no matter where you train, if it isn't in Canada it's not commparable!!
I was hoping someone might have some advice for me on whether I would be better off to possibly add LPN onto my application? I know it wouldn't be guaranteed but would I be more likely comparable for this? Also if anyone could tell me what the NNAS application for this would entail- I've already sent the items for the RN application so would I need to resend all the documents or are there separate ones for an LPN?
Thank you to anyone who can help!
Lots of love,
A disheartened, stressed out Irish nurse

A lot will depend on whether your transcripts show clinical and theory hours in Paeds, Mental Health, Obstetrics and Adult. They college may want you to sit some kind of assessment but as said a lot will depend on transcripts

@clairec463 from what I've read you can add another nursing group to your application so long as your RN report was not issued. You just have to pay for the additional fee. NNAS will waive all docs they needed. They will definitely use files you've submitted for your RN evaluation.

Hi!
I am a Indian nurse and applaied NNAS for my RN assessment. The result came non comparable.I realize that my other friends with same syllabus they got comparable but for me not.I able to identify that the hours is totally different from the transcript. So I contact NNAS Customer care, they told they took the hours written in my application from the college. So my question is why they didn't compared the hours with transcript and raise questions about it ? Even the work experience also, they mixed up with hours and even they put 0 hours instead of my exact hour. So I don't know what to do next.Is any one know the suggestion for this issue.
