I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
Hi guys! Anyone here who is still waiting for their DL? I was put on queue last April 24th. I have uploaded a police clearance from Switzerland last 9th May as I have stayed there for a year but I haven't gotten any feedback from the NMC yet. I even emailed them though. This waiting season gives me so much anxiety.
Btw, I'm bound for KCH. Anyone here who's also for King's? Thanks!
Wow! Congratulations! I was put on queue last 24th May but I still haven't gotten my DL yet. I'm even more anxious now. But i hope I'll have it within this week too.
hello there! :) Im also for King's and we have the same situation... queue date April 25th... they asked for my exit visa from Saudi since my police clearance there is outdated.. Emailed NMC but got no feedback yet after i complied with the additional information they needed....

There has been minimal improvement with the NMC, you need to ring to chase them a lot, thats what we do. We ensure we get third party access for all of our candidates so we can poke our nose in. Some of that is because candidates aren't always in a rush to get their DL.

I just got a reply and they told me they "just have received my documents last 4th June" when they have already received it last April based from my portal. And last 8th May, I have uploaded my Police clearance from Switzerland which is needed. Now, I'm totally confused because they just told me my papers are "ready for assessment".
Did they just put me on queue? Do I need to wait for another 60 days again though I have started my application last March 26. I'm totally frustrated.

I think you do not need to wait for another 60 days. A friend of mine received her DL a few days after complying with the request.
