Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
Hi evanz. I tried to send an email to you but there's a glitch i think. It says here that your email address cannot locate/ not valid. Anyhow, I messaged again my agency because my friend, who is working under the same trust and hospital as mine, asked the HR personnel and found out that there is an induction every month. Very contradicted with my agency's alibi of delaying my deployment. I just cant figure out why they're doing this to us after all the waiting and exams.
I'm sure the financial burden of deployment rests on the agency and as such, they have to keep in check the cost of deployment. So I guess if the cost of deployment by the agency for a month is exceeded, candidates are shifted to the coming month. Just guessing..
I do. But i don't think it's the reason for the delay. My friend i applied with on the same day who paid for the priority service doesn't have immigration history but his in the same boat. The only consistent feedback we received from UKVI and Home office is that there was a technical issue on the VFS side.
Hi klowee! I assume u and your friend has gotten your visas already?
There's really not much to share but a short email saying they were having difficulty in uploading docs in the system. Did you get your already? I am really starting to worry.
Same here.. it would be much easier if they inform us of the decision even by email then i wouldnt mind waiting. But they dont
Oh wow! Congratulations! Are you done with the IOM and Visa too?I'm bound for Northern Ireland instead of England though and I'm scared maybe it'll take longer or something.
Thank you! Not yet. I have yet to schedule my IOM tomorrow. What a coincidence! I am bound to Northern Ireland too! Not done with visa either.
I'm pretty sure your DL will arrive soon. It'll take more than a month to assess it after you have been placed on queue.
