Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
hi Sir! I badly needed help.. been trying to reach NMC since Feb 27 but they haven't replied.. My papers are almost complete, I just got stuck with the declaration of good health stamp.. it is very unclear to me, can a doctor from other hospital examine me or is it or do i need to see the occupational health physician of the hospital that i am currently working in? what does it mean by the stamp of the registered medical practitioner, is it the same as the "trodat" hoping for your response.. thank you in advance!
1. From my experience, the doctor that checked me is a fellow doctor in our hospital, from what I know, it can be a doctor in the same institution that you are working BUT the said doctor must have never employed you. I asked my agency about this and they said it's completely ok.
2. Correct me if I am wrong, the stamp that the NMC needs is a dry seal. Most of these doctors do not have that. So what he used is his trodat. Then, I made a letter that he signed saying that he has no official dry seal stamp at the moment. A simple 2 sentence letter is what I did.
3. As an alternative, my other colleagues had their DOGH signed by the occupational health doctor that checked them when they had their physical exam.
Anyone here from Omanfil? Or bound for KCH? My target deployment date is on March 30 but no news yet of my COS.
Ours were filed last Feb 5. They told us that it's still at the Home office. Got an info that they reapplied it again for March. A lot of applicants from this agency are experiencing the same agony.
They have given me a provision to upload the bio-data as an additional document in my profile and also given the e-mail id of my assessment officer. I have up loaded the bio-data as as additional document and they have asked a corrected document of my reference form-2 as hard copy. I have directly forwarded the same to my assessment officer to avoid further delay.
