2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

Has anyone submitted documents to the NMC lately only to have them waiting in the mailroom to be processed for 2-3 weeks?!

Ive been calling to ask them to check and some of them have said it takes 5-10 days then on Friday last week the guy told me 10-15 WORKING days.

From what I've seen here everyones documents have been getting processed within a week.

Hi. That's good to know. I got mine after 50 calendar days on qeue. From which agency are you?

My agency is GHR. What about you?

Hi!

November 29- entered queue (when all of my documents were received)

Jan 20- received feedback ( NMC asked me to send another reference form)

Feb 2- re-entered queue

Feb 22- got my DL ( after 86 days!!!!!)

Wow that was really a long wait but it is worth it. Good luck! I hope i get mind this March with no required docs whatsoever.

Oh hi. We are on the same agency. I hope you get you DL soon.

Hi Sir. Have you received your COS?

Not yet. I will just go on with the TB screening as I am headed to Manila next week. I hope we'll get ours soon.

Mine took 15 days to appear in the portal. If it went beyond that, better call NMC and have your tracking number ready.

Great! Yap im really hoping to get it this month hehe. Good luck to all of us.

My all documents were received on NMC and entered on the que on 01/022018. On yesterday (05/03/2018) I have received an e-mail from NMC by asking to upload my bio-data and some more details.

When you have entered in to the que ? Whether they have asked any other additional documents including bio-data?

hi Sir! I badly needed help.. been trying to reach NMC since Feb 27 but they haven't replied.. My papers are almost complete, I just got stuck with the declaration of good health stamp.. it is very unclear to me, can a doctor from other hospital examine me or is it or do i need to see the occupational health physician of the hospital that i am currently working in? what does it mean by the stamp of the registered medical practitioner, is it the same as the "trodat" hoping for your response.. thank you in advance!
