2017 NMC UK Decision Letter

Published

Hi Guys,

I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?

Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!

The same thing applies for the visa as well? Haven't applied for a visa yet. TheY misspelled something on my cos and my agency had to check with my employer first.

Yes, my previous nbi clearance was dated october. And i got another last january to be submitted for visa application. When is your departure date?

Thank you mieke! I just had to confirm because I know someone from a different agency who used the same nbi with her nmc and visa application. My name has a hit in the nbi records, and it takes 2 weeks before I can get my clearance. Tentative date is on march 18. Are you done with your visa application?

What's your agency sir?

Who among you here are waiting for their COS which was applied last Feb 5? The Home Service already released the result of their allocated RCOS this Feb. My NHS is still waiting for the confirmation until now

What does this mean? Mine was filed last feb 5 as well, but my agency informed me before that it will be released on the 26th.

I just hope, what we are experiencing right now is just a delay on the handover of COS assignment.

Hopefully it's just a delay in the assignment of COS to us.
