Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
Thank you Ma'am Caramel02. I inquired about having the treatment done in the UK because I just read a post in facebook about a Filipino nurse who was positive with FB but was able to work in the UK. I think the trust made a waiver that he will be having his treatment there. I will confirm this once I am able to talk to that person. So what will happen to your CoS? Will you get a new one?

Really? I guess the ones that were given that waiver are those with other pulmonary cases but definitely not with PTB. They're really strict with regards to public health. However if that's the case that would be good for you. As for my COS, my trust will either provide me a new one (which costs 3000 pounds) or perhaps have some amendment to the concerned authority to somehow renew it and change deployment dates indicated.
Ps. Could you please send me your name in facebook so that we could keep posted just in case you will be able to find out what happened to the person who was able to go to the UK during his/her treatment?
Anybody here who entered the queue the first week of October? Any updates on your DLs?My documents were posted on the 9th of October and I have not received any feedback from the NMC yet.
I entered the queue on Oct. 3, still no DL. I emailed them, they stand by the 60 days and that if they need any more information, you'll see it on your portal.
none yet. from philippines but based in UAE.
Hello nurse April. Are you a DHA license nurse. Did you got your DL already? I am also from UAE. I got an issue with the certificate of regiatration from DHA bec they are not giving. I am wondering if I could just submit the copy of my license.
Thanks.
