Hi Guys,
I found an old thread from 2016 but wanted to start anew so we don't have to filter through 20+ pages. I submitted my application in June and it was placed on the queue on June 21. I am still anxiously waiting for my decision letter. My 40 working days is on the 16 August. Is there anyone else that submitted this at about the same time as me that's waiting to hear back?
Also - anyone have issues with clinical practice hours in university from the US? I was short by 25 hospital hours, but I did 187 hours volunteering at a hospital while I was in school. They said to include that in my transcript of training, that it should be ok but it would still need to be assessed like everything else, which leads me to believe it should be fine, albeit still so terrified! I have my family and my boyfriend waiting on me to get there and I can't wait any longer!!
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to ask if anybody has a similar case or know anybody who has a similar case with mine.
I have sent all the needed docs by NMC and had my assessor's email stating that they could not accept my work exp of 11 mos (feb to dec) because i only got my PRC license on april. So, my feb to march work experience was considered as unregistered.
However, i got another 6 mos registered practice so in total i will have more than 12mos registered practice, which NMC assured me that they will credit.
My main issue now is the unregistered volunteer work i've done for feb to march.
Im still waiting for my assessor's comment on that..
But if anybody knows or knew someone who got the same case as i have, please let me know what NMC asked them to do. Will PRC fill up the unregistered practice form?
-a very nervous applicant here

have you tried calling / messaging NHS?
I emailed the NMC a few days ago, without a response so far. I do have an overseas caseworker from my new job that has been helping me with the details. He has told me I need to just wait. Just thought I would throw it out there in case any of you have further suggestions.

The maximum time that the NHS will process your papers is 70 days . You waited more than enough. You can try and call them to have a quicker response. I think the number is posted here
