Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
Looks like a lot o people's application went in on the 29th of december, mine included. This is actually my second time on the queue and i just wanna say this waiting game is pure torture. Constantly checking your inbox for THE email; then a sigh of disappointment finding nothing there, agony. I can't wait to do a happy dance in front of my computer when i get the email. Until then PUSH.
Anyone here from Philippines?. Sorry for the noob questions (and also, kinda out of topic issue)
I am having issues with my braces and my palpitations. I just finished my dental and medical check up today for UK visa application. Unfortunately, it was written in my health record that I was tachycardic (i only experienced tachycardia because I was nervous for the required various tests), will it affect my employment when they will report the tachycardia to my Uk employer?
Will I still be qualified and considered physically fit to work in Uk?
Also, is it all right having braces/brackets?or did i make a mistake and should have ask my dentist to remove my braces before applying for the medical and dental consultations for the visa and Uk emplyment application?
Hi guys! Quick question. I submitted my online application and mailed all my barcoded material and supplemental material to the NMC. However, when I log onto the NMC website and view my portal I only see a "Read Only" view of my application. I do not see the area where it tells me what form the NMC received and the date they received it. Am I looking in the right location? Or does this mean that the NMC has not uploaded my documents as of yet?

Yes, you're on the right page. It normally takes 7-10 days for nmc to upload the documents you have sent.

If they received your mail when you try to track via courier, it will take 2 weeks to be uploaded on your portal. You'll be on queue when the portal indicates 'Document Received'. The 'Read Only' means you cant edit your details because you already submitted it.
The NMC hasn't scanned and uploaded your mailed documents yet.

I don't know about the tachycardia but i see no reason why having braces would deem you unfit to practice nursing.
Hi shaneshane! I processed this NDR document at OUMWA-DFA Manila office (Roxas Blvd) last Dec 2016. This document accdg to the officer that I talked to will be available after 2-3 months . So I have to do a follow up hopefully next month if it's already available. I just don't know if the timeline for getting a Saudi Police Clearance is just the same or faster? Especially if you're processing one outside the Kingdom. A lot of hassle I guess.Anyhow just to share, regarding the requirement for a police clearance as an NMC reqt, I emailed NMC, and they advised me to just secure a copy of my exit stamp/final exit visa together with an English Translation of this visa/stamp from a certified translator. And that's what I did and sent them and it really saved me a lot of time, stress and everything. Hahaha. I really wished I asked NMC prior to going to DFA, haha. Anyhow if ever my NDR certificate will be available, I'll still get it I guess. :)
For the Registration Authority Verification forms, NMC is also aware that SCFHS do not always sign these forms. They advised me to just print the RAV form from my portal, leave it blank, and attach a copy of a Good Standing Certificate from SCFHS plus the Certificate given by Saudi Council (the Professional Accreditation Certificate/PAC) for your registration at SCFHS. I advised you to have this PAC document also translated, just to be sure before sending them. :)
And for those with Good Standing Certificate that is already expired, (like for my case, I got mine last June 2015; other posts mentioned that NMC is requiring a Good Standing Cert that is valid for 6 months), I again emailed them because I know it would be a waste of time to get another COGS because hello, Saudi? Haha. But yea, just the time.
Sooo. NMC advised me that my COGS is acceptable and just attach a copy of my exit visa (again, translated).
So there! You see, all your concerns, especially Saudi documents concerns and questions, PLEASE EMAIL NMC or GIVE THEM A CALL. :) For the past months, I was stressing myself regarding these papers because I really can't secure all those required Saudi documents. But yes, thank God NMC has been a bit considerate for these matters. I guess? Email or call them because my case may not be applicable to you or probably they will give other suggestions for your case. :) So yea, email/call (again, again
) makes everthing a bit lighter and less stressful.
I just sent all my forms and documents last week, hoping they'll receive soon. And if ever you'd would still want to get a No Derogatory Record cert from DFA, just tell me I'll give you details. But I'm hoping you won't need it anymore! :)
Hi jinaa, may I know where did you have your exit stamp translated and how much? Planning to submit my exit stamp while waiting for my Saudi Police Clearance. Thank you,
