So a little background, I'm originally from England, moved to the US when I was 15, been here for 14 years now, I'm a British citizen and have a green card. I'm an LPN and will (fingers crossed) graduate with my ASN in December.
I went back to England for the first time in 11 years in May and it just felt like home, I'm seriously considering moving back in the next few years. I know I need my bachelors to apply to become a nurse over there, but the guidelines are a little hazy to me on the experience requirement. It states I need 12 months of experience as a registered nurse to apply with the NMC.
I emailed them, but got a generic response, which brought me here. I want to find out if I could get that year of experience under my ASN which I'm working on my BSN, or if it must be under a bachelors degree and so would take me an extra year before being able to move back.
Anyone?
