2019 NMC Decision Letter

UK NMC decision Letter stories, CoS stories and experiences

Updated:   Published

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

That's lightning fast. NMC calculation is usually based on business days.
So, if you received yours on 35th including weekend, that's only 25th business days.

I already submit all my paper application by post on day 2 with tracked postage to NMC. But until now, I did not receive anything other than "we will process your application bla bla bla within 40-60 business days" in NMC portal.

Call them and ask for your queue date. Email them and tell them to look into your application. And you should count weekends as well. If you are sure you have been on the queue for 49 business days please add the number of weekends to your calculation. That should be almost 60days if not more.

Hi dears,

The information which was recived from the person I spoke to at NMC was that the process is expected to complete within 40 to 60 calender days from start of queue date and if there is no DL after 60 days we must call them as they will refer the case to the overseas team for follow up.

The queue date in my case was from the date I clicked submit, as I submitted only after all the documents were received at NMC.

Its my 54th calender day and still waiting...?

Its my 31st day, i have given up on calling them, whenever they are ready. Seems they take longer this month unlike previous months.

Congratulations dear. Happy for you. ??????

40-60 days is maximum, I learnt I am in queue but does that mean I have all my documents correct or will they tell me something is missing before I was queued.

The assessor said she will update me, I knownits only been a few days.

When your application is being assessed you will get a mail if you need any additional documents or need to upload or resend any. Being on the queue doesn’t mean you do not have issues with your documents.

THANK you. I wanna call back and check but I feel like they'll be upset. I dont know. I just wanna know that everything is okay.

You can call as much as you want. I call them when am bored to check on my application. Lol. 32 days on the queue. How long is yours now.

Embarrassingly only 5 ?

But it's just to know that I do not need anymore documents. I don't need any disappointment with this.

Even if you need more, they wouldn’t tell you on the phone. Your application needs to be assessed before you can know if you need more documents. What did the email you got say? And was it immediately you submitted your application?

It was from an international assessment officer and she said ' we are assessing hour application now and will update you when it has passed assessment'

I replied thank you.

That's all.
