I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Hey, do u have an idea what to d coz nmbi said they will send a mail to dha in dubai but i doubt it that dha will respond to them. Do you think i can simply send an explanation via email to the nmbi assessor if they need more documentation?
I hope you have done ccps verification (to be sent directly to NMBI by respective nursing council's where ever you have registered with , In your case from DHA as well as your home country as studied and registered)
If yes, Please sent email to NMBI saying that DHA has directly sent verification from to NMBI as NMBI requirement. with courier tracking details, if have.
They got the ccps from dha but for some reason i think nmbi wants to clarify something with them. And my concern is when dha does not return a response. So i need to do something. Licensing body in d middle east is hard to deal with most of the time.
In this case, try to convenience by sending a details mail saying that CCPS was sent directly as per requirement.
Also if you have agent inform them and ask them to contact directly NMBI regarding this.
If you don't have agent, i suggest you to appoint a good agent from Ireland and allow them to follow up your application. It is the fastest way to deal with NMBI.

I contacted NMBI they said they have not received it and the board in Nigeria said they have sent it and are so sloppy to provide me with the tracking number. Again, PRC in my country told me they only sent verification ( I only paid for) without certificate of good standing. Since the certificate of good standing was not mentioned in the verification form, do I send a certificate of good standing separately to nmbi since verification might have been sent.

March 29, 2017 - NMBI received Sec 2 CCPS from PRC
April 3, 2017 - NMBI received Sec 2 Transcript from my University
April 6, 2017 - NMBI received Sec 2 Employer's Reference from my institution
April 7, 2017 - NMBI received Section 1 from me
April 19, 2017 - NMBI updated my Application Tracker for my IELTS and Fee
April 24, 2017 - NMBI updated my Tracker, this time for my Employer's Reference
April 25, 2017 - NMBI updated my Tracker , indicating they have received my CCPS, Transcript and Section 1 . All Documents Received
April 25, 2017 - application status changed from "Documents Outstanding " to "Review Pending"
April 28, 2017 - application status changed from "Review Pending" to "Assessment"
May 2, 2017 - application status changed from "Assessment" to "Decision Pending"

"You must send the Verification (CCPS) Form to the relevant competent authority or competent authorities, if you are registered with more than one. The authority must complete the form and send it directly to NMBI with a Verification Certificate (CCPS).
Your verification (CCPS) must include the following:
- Applicant's name as it appears in the Register
-Professional Identification Number
-Division (s)or part (s) of the Register where the applicant is registered
-Date of Initial Registration
-Registration expiry date
-Registration status (active/inactive/temporary/other)
-Fitness to practice "
The Philippine equivalent of CCPS or Certificate of Current Professional Status is the Certificate of Good Standing , you might want to ask your licensing body about this and try to call NMBI , I'm sure they've handled inquiries from Nigerian applicants and they should be able to explain the requirements . Finally got my DL(scanned copy only) last March 24. However, my application can't move on until now because my agency can't find an employer for me. They're making me wait for an interview from a certain hospital. I'm thinking if I should keep on waiting or just apply to other hospitals or agencies.
I am a nurse in the Philippines trying to apply with nmbi.. can someone please send me a copy the soft copy of the application pack? It would be a big help to know what documents to gather.
There's a Facebook group called "Filipino Nurses in Ireland- 2nd generation" , a member posted a scanned copy of her application pack . It's a closed group so you need to send a request to join or if you have a friend who's already a member you can request to be added . Hope this helps :)
