I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Hi! I am currently applying to NMBI. I hope someone can help me wtih my queries.
1.) NMBI received section 1 of my pack as well as my employer reference. When I checked my online account it says that section 2 of IELTS is outstanding. When I received the application pack I didn't see any requirement for IELTS. I emailed NMBI to clarify but they have not responded yet. Should I send them through DHL a copy of my IELTS?
2.) I am currently employed in Saudi Arabia for 6 years. I had 3 years experience in the Philippines. Do I need an employer reference frommmy previous employment or the one from Saudi Arabia is enough.?
3.) I have read in one of the comments that I can directly send to NMBI the good standing certificate of SCHS through email without the need for the verification paper to be sent through DHL. Can use any of the emails in NMBI contacts (overseasreg for example)?
I just emailed them directly.I had an interview with Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda and will also be by be interviewed by Coombe Hospital in Dublin too.

Finally got my DL(scanned copy only) last March 24. However, my application can't move on until now because my agency can't find an employer for me. They're making me wait for an interview from a certain hospital. I'm thinking if I should keep on waiting or just apply to other hospitals or agencies.

Nmbi asked for a different set of verification. When i got an offer from daths, they need a another set of employment referees other than the coe. Coe is used for superannuation scheme and for slary grading.
