The nursing school I am considering is using NLN for their entrance exam. I stopped by Barnes and Noble to skim though a review book and the verbal was not what I expected smh....I did not know most of them vocabulary words
What has been your experience for prepping for the NLN exam? any tips

I bought the NLN book with the CD ROM and it's been a worthy investment. A lot of my classmates had really great results with it (they scored well over the 100 required by my community college), and are now either in the nursing program or applying for it.
If you're in school now doing pre-reqs, check out their library and see if they have a copy of the book handy - my CC usually keeps a copy or two tucked away, but I ended up buying the book since I study better at home and I couldn't check their copy of the book out
Vocab can be a bit daunting though, but try not to let it scare you; it's not too hard to grasp and you'll find that once you start breaking words down it's easier to understand their meaning. There's a section on that in the NLN book too which is definitely worth the read! :)
