So I have worked in as a PCT in a new jersey hospital for a few years now. I took a medical assistant program but never went for verification because I never needed it.
But now I think it would be beneficial to me to have the certification under my belt....
I have found the resources to the CNA certification but I am having trouble finding and information for Phlebotomy, EKG or ANYTHING else....
I would really like to become a certified Patient Care Tech...
or even separate certifications for Phlebotomy and EKG's
anyone know anything about this is New Jersey? thanks!

I'm not sure what part of Jersey you are in but I do know of a course at Camden County College in south jersey. Its not called a patient care tech, its called a multi skilled tech. But the course you take are an EKG and phlebotomy course and like 3 other courses. The website is http://www.camdencc.edu, just type in multi skilled tech in the search box if you want anymore info.
