Nipple Confusion

Anyone have information on how nipple confusion relates to breast feeding? Should prems who show interest in sucking be given a bottle if Mom plans on breast feeding?

Heck, some kids prefer the right breast to the left. I don't say that they have nipple confusion because they have trouble nursing on one side.

Heck . . . you reminded me that ALL 4 of my kids did this . . . preferred my left breast over my right. I have the lopsided-ness to prove it.
