Hello! I am finishing up the process to start the BSN program at Nightingale College this September 2023, but am still waiting for my transfer credit evaluation. I submitted my transcripts last month and didn't expect it to take this long. I'm honestly just really excited to see where I'm going to start LOL. I have a bunch of pre-reqs done and my A.S. In general science which was 63 credits but I'm not sure which ones they'll let me transfer. I already did all the other steps like application and entrance exam. I got 292 for the reading section and 270s for both math and writing. I'm going to try to take as many CLEP exams as I can too so that I can hopefully finish the program in less time and for less money *crossing fingers*. Anyone else in the same part of the process as me? How long did it take them to update your transfer credits?

Hey, same here just waiting for the transcript eval. So far only 15 cr have been applied not very much and with the cost of this program I need more to bring it down. Hopefully this will go by pretty quickly so I'll know where I'm starting. I passed MDC and the health assessment HESI now I'm gearing up for med surg HESI. So glad you mentioned the clep exam haven't thought about doing that, so im gonna check to see what I can test out of. I do have a lot of gen ED's done, thankfully. I'll post an update on how things go.
That's good! At least you're an LPN and get to test out of some courses with HESIs. I'm a phlebotomist so that's not an option LOL. But yea definitely look into the CLEP for all the GE course you still need. The only CLEP I think I'll take is college algebra because I finally got my eval back and I'm able to transfer in 32 credits. I don't see an equivalent for the writing course but I'm gonna ask my advisor if there is one. But yea let me know how it goes! Good luck on your next HESI.
Did they email you your credit evaluation or did the advisor just tell you? When I did my financial aid she told me what's been accepted so far.
No I checked my learner portal and they had uploaded a pdf of it. There's also all the transcripts I sent. My advisor and I have a meeting Tuesday so I'm sure we'll just discuss next steps.
I thought I couldn't access learner portal but was able to. So far nothing is showing about credit evaluation. So anxious to see what was accepted. I'll keep ya posted.
I'm glad you were able to access it. Honestly I was checking like everyday LOL I know what you mean. My advisor told me the registrars office is super behind so hopefully they do yours soon. I would say email them and reach out to your advisor because after that it seemed mine was done almost the next day.
Hey guys, I want to give an update on my process. I took med surg HESI and passed, thankfully my entrance exams are done! I'm a little disappointed they didn't accept one of my classes which I thought they would after I submitted the syllabus. NONE of my previous nursing classes from a previous school was accepted so no surprise there since most schools won't accept them even ones you've passed. So hoping to decrease the amount of time in the program as well as the money. I'm looking into clep for the western civilization... not so much for the college algebra, I just hate that kind of math so I'll be taking it at NGC.

Hello, if you took the CLEP exams, which ones did Nightingale College accept? You were right, Nightingale does not have a transfer score/credit guide on College Board website, I noticed that the Registrar's Office stated, on the Transfer Policy page, that Nightingale does accept CLEP exams. I am looking to take the following exams to transfer into Nightingale (or WGU):
Can anyone on this thread let me know which CLEP exams Nightingale accepts? Thank you!
