Night shift humor

Working in a hospital several years ago, me and my co-workers had quit an experience.

Once a week the tele/ccu/icu/med/surg dept would have a pot luck. This time the tele floor decided we would have an extra, just for our floor. Well the CNA brought out the food. Me and two other nurses were eating this pasta salad, thinking "God this is really good!!!!" Me and one of nurses were heading back for seconds on this one particular noodle salad. I noticed a little black on some of the noodles, and figuring that who ever made it burned the noodles, like I have on many occasions. The other nurse than asked "Who made this noodle salad, its awfully good?" No one, I mean no one fessed up. Me and the other nurse started looking more closely at the noodles and mixture. Low and behold, there was green fur on the noodles and the black, well think about it.

God knows how old the salad was!!!!

We called the ER doc and he said if we get food poisoning (Threw his laughter then it will probably happen in the next half hour). Unless you throw it up. Guess what me and the other nurse did?

With in the hour though, we became the laughing stock of the whole hospital and nurses from other floors where coming to mock. It was pretty funny though, and the noodle salad actually was good!!!!!!

Never Never never eat out of a nursing lounge refrigerator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tip from me to you:

Always ALWAYS check your salad for pubic hairs before you consume it.

Enough said. I'm still recovering.
