Hello all,
I am interested in connecting with Nigerian Nurses who have successfully gone through the Canadian Nursing Registration/Licensing and Immigration procedures to become registered Nurses in Canada.
I would also like to connect with LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) and NAs (Nursing Assistants).
I have successfully completed the tedious processes and have secured a job in Canada. I want to connect with other nurses who have done same to hear your stories.
If you are still in the process please connect with me as well. We can help each other.
Thank you.
Hello Signorina.
Where are you in B. C please?
I am looking forward to moving to B. C from PEI before summer ends with my family.
I hope to get a job as a resident care giver or something to keep me going while in the process of getting my license to practice .
Please can you advise me on where i can quickly find my feet and settle easily?
Though, I'm looking at Vancouver or its surrounding communities.
Thank you

I have read that Canada opened its doors to the international trained nurses, there are definitive steps and procedures that nurses should follow to enable them to immigrate to live and work in Canada. I'm just cusious whether this applies to those who graduated from Nigerian Universities?

Sorry that your expectation was cut short. You can also take the LPN to RN bridging course. Alberta have higher wage for LPN. LPN with experience earn almost as much as RN in other provinces. There are many jobs in Northern Albera too. I wish you all the best.
