  1. Definitely travel:) There are so many places to see in this world... my best memories so far are: Watching boats pass under the Elizabeth Bridge on the banks of the Danube in Budapest, Hungary; Observing traditional folk dancing in Maldonado, Uruguay (They had no idea that a tourist was watching); Wandering through the ruins at Delphi, Greece; exploring the twisted steets of Sevilla, Spain; taking in the tropical splendor of Algarve, Portugual, and then there is, of course, Las Vegas... This is my experience I will never forget!
  2. These places cannot be compared. Those are totally different types of properties. The Residence Inn is more of an extended stay hotel. The Hyatt is a full service hotel and will definitely be more luxurious than the Residence Inn. You can read more full reviews on them on travelsites.com . Hope this helps!
  3. For now, any marijuana products use (with or without a card) is not compatible with nursing practice, not in any traditional sense. Maybe someday you could find a private job as an RN with an individual who wouldn't mind, but to get there you would need some experience, and to my knowledge, most healthcare employers will not tolerate it. ____________________ cbd vs hemp oil
  4. Just don't make the mistake of believing that you are fully ""recovered"". Alcoholism is a chronic disease with lifelong consequences. Believe me, if you stay sober for the rest of your days, you are never fully cured. I personally know so many people fall flat on their faces after five, ten, even 20 years of abstinence.......all it takes is ONE moment of weakness, and they're right back where they started from.... Being a still recovery alcoholic (10 years sobber), I know from my personal experience that the hardest years of sobriety are the first five, an addict needs some professional help provided by treatment centers. One is only a recovered alcoholic when one is dead: while you live and breathe, you are and always will be recovering. Best of luck!
  5. Unfortunately, as it turned out, nursing is NOT a "high demand job" . It seems you are living in the area without a high need for new nurses. Have you ever considered moving? Take a look at online job postings, see where you can move to and be able to work. That's your best bet. Personally I found my job through toronto.companies-in-canada.com and moved to Toronto.
  6. Hello! This is incredibly informative thread for me! Thank you! I am currently considering obtaining my Medical card, but I have some concerns. My husband is a medical marijuana card holder so I know of the basic laws and rules, I read many subject related articles , but your real life recommendations are really valuable
  7. I personally have 2 acquaintances who work at hospitals as nurses and they smoke marijuana regularly. One more example is my cousin who delivers babies for a hospital and she smokes with her boyfriend on occasion.
  8. I have been using a nursing bindersince nursing school. With all the extra papers, handouts, and notes I need to keep, it's essential to stay organized. I have a binder for college reviewed by TheOlive . It's very easy and keeps all notes, handouts, etc in the same place.
  9. I have read that Canada opened its doors to the international trained nurses, there are definitive steps and procedures that nurses should follow to enable them to immigrate to live and work in Canada. I'm just cusious whether this applies to those who graduated from Nigerian Universities? Thanks for any info!
  10. I exactly know how you're feeling. I love getting my nails done especially with acrylic. I've heard you can't wear acrylic nails as a nurse. I'm going to have to mentally prepare myself for not being able to wear acrylic anymore. And I'm also considering some press-on nails, just read about them on Productadvisor . I guess short ones will be okay
  11. I'm very happy I have found this thread! I just thought it would be interesting to find other Nigerians to network with who also have the passion to be a CRNA. Just trying to find some info on the CRNA Programs and courses. I'm just a new grad (BSN) hoping to one day become a CRNA.
  12. In many states, CBD oil is not legal, therefore, physicians can not prescribe it. For example, in Canada, the legalization of cannabis is expected for July 1, 2018 acc. to this resource CBD oil Canada . Many are both hands for legalization of cannabis, believing that it will eliminate the illegal trade, yield valuable tax and reduce policing costs.
  13. I've recently tested out a few background check services and were surprised to find how inaccurate the results were. Only this one Background check showed nearly all of my previous addresses and phone number history. I think this is a good indicator.
  14. Hi there! Wehave a pill crusher that is loud and at times messy and I am annoyed by breathing the powder dust that it creates. So I'm in the market for the new one that will be comfortable and easy to clean. I found some reviews on 5 Best Pill Crushers for 2
  15. I'm personally planning to install cameras inside and outside of my house where my mom lives with me and while I'm working a nurse is taking care of my mom. My mother's protection is priority. Our nurse is not aware we are planning to have cameras. I'm currently surfing the web in search of a good and cost effective one and found some reviews here 8 Best hidden cameras of 2
