Where in OR?! My coworker has been trying to find a regular (not travel) job up there since her husband got transfered back to OR. So far she has found nothing!

Very hard to come by! I am in WA right now. I extended against my wishes, but there isn't anything out there. I don't know what is going on! I just heard back home that 5 nurses were laid off in my old unit :(

I think it was Salem Regional. I don't know what agencies they use, but you might wanna call the hospital to check. Call 503-561-5200 and ask for the staffing office, they should be able to refer u.

lvnurs9- Where in Washington are you working and what agency do you use? NICU in Seattle? I live in Seattle and want to find a contact there in the spring. You had said you extended your contract against your wishes. Was it because you don't like the hospital/unit or were you just wanting to move on for other reasons?
