  1. I'm sure it varies between hospitals but I've heard it's way more like $125/hr. Pretty sure agencies make bank on their travel nurses.

    lvnurs9- Where in Washington are you working and what agency do you use? NICU in Seattle? I live in Seattle and want to find a contact there in the spring. You had said you extended your contract against your wishes. Was it because you don't like the hospital/unit or were you just wanting to move on for other reasons?
  3. Hey there...I'm also a NICU nurse and I was hoping to start traveling in the early spring but I've been worried about everyone on here talking about how scarce jobs are. I've only submitted info to one smaller company and am looking into a couple more. I see you are already with three major agencies and still haven't gotten any contract offers! Unbelievable! I know I'm not really answering your question but I just wanted to let you know another NICU nurse sympathizes with you! Good luck!
