Hi! So I had my second interview, which also allowed me to shadow some of the nurses on the unit. I thought it went fairly well. I sent an email a few hours later to the nurse manager and she said that the nurses like me and they are still interviewing. I am not sure if that is a bad thing, good, or neutral. I really want the job. Has anyone had similar experiences. How long after your interviews did you receive an offer?

If you have lots of NICU experience then you might receive an offer quickly, I received one within a couple hours but I had about 16 years NICU experience and 30 overall. And I don't know if I was last to interview or not. Other jobs have taken a well or so, it depends on where they are in the process. If you're less experienced then they'll interview others. It's hard to be patient but you've done all you can do at this point. If I didn't hear within a couple weeks I would call HR and just ask what was going on, is someone had been hired etc. They'll understand you need to know a timeline. And get out there and do other interviews in the meantime!

Hey Didizain,
I actually have a second interview with Cohen's next week for the NICU and somehow stumbled upon your page! I just wanted to know how the second interview went, I am super nervous because this is one of my dream jobs and if you ultimately landed a job offer? Thanks so much and hope it went well!!!
Hey! I actually did ultimately land the offer. Congrats on getting the interview. Don't be nervous, but prepare for it. I hope it goes well and we end up working together. Good luck!!
Did they expect anything from you? I’ve been brushing up on newborn assessments but I’m nervous what exactly they’re looking for and the questions they’ll ask. Hopefully we’ll be coworkers!!
