NHSC Loan Repayment 2024 Cycle

Hi everyone,

I didn't see a thread for the 2024 NHSC Loan repayment cycle so I thought I'd start one. I applied for the Spanish supplemental award and was just contacted today to set up the language proficiency test. Has anyone else gotten any updates (credit check etc) ? Good luck to everyone!

My application status still says submitted 😞 still haven't lost hope though!

Someone from Reddit said that his status changed to finalist a week before getting the COI email

Which tiering are u referencing? The one for SUD? Or for nurse corp tiering by debt?

Second credit pull today....

I did want to post about a glitch I have noticed from other threads. My status has not changed, however, when I called BHW they did confirm that my applications, NHS LRP and Nurse corps were under review. I did receive credit pull 7/12. Not sure why we have not received change of status. They said we should get answer no later than September 30.

Thank you for sharing this. I called NHSC around when my credit was pulled in July as well and was told the same- that my application was "under review" but saw no change on the website.

I applied for the STAR program & today it changed to under review. So did my coworkers. All of it appears very unpredictable.

Any Updates, I am on the Nurse corps thread, and some have also said similar responses per NHSC with status change. There was one who said he logged in and never received email he was a finalist, seems we should probably look on our portal since we are not receiving emails.

The portal is also supposed to change when you are a finalist so you can accept the award, but it's not. 
I called the helpline to no avail.

no credit check, nothing but crickets! This is nerve racking as I moved all the way up to AK to get a place with loan repayment.:(

I did want to update, my status changed to under review over the weekend.

I accepted the SUD lrp, my STAR & nurse corp apps now say "declined". Good luck everyone!!
