2009 NGCSU Bridge program chance of getting in

Has anyone gotten in NGCSU with a 3.0 GPA. I am taking the TEAS January 9, 2009. I have completed most core class, except for A&P, MICRO AND HISTORY. I've been licensed since 2004 , but have only worked 8 months since becoming license. I had two babies 2005 and 2007. I need any info on my chances of getting into the bridge program and what is their scoring system:confused:

Oh, you're right, the Lanier campus is at Lanier Tech in Cumming. For the longest time I thought the Gainesville campus met at Lanier Tech but I recently found out it meets at Gainesville college- both in Oakwood. So when you said Lanier I was thinking Gainesville, where I will be.

Have you finished retaking the sciences? Does NGCSU also require you to retake them all? I finished A&P I and II last year and I will be done with micro next month. Do you have the rest of the core done? I just still need a foreign language (I didn't take that, or any worthwhile sciences, my first time in school) and the leadership class. I was going to try to go ahead and get the foreign language out of the way this summer. I hope to get that done and still have some time to relax and have some fun too before August gets here!!

Hello! I have been accepted to NGCSU for Fall 2009 as well :-). I will be going to the Gainesville campus and I cannot wait to get started!! I am also coming from Gwinnett County so the Gainesville campus is not far from me at all! We are the future class of 2011!! woohoo :-).

Hey MOM2000! nice to meet you :-) I am in Micro right now as well...I sent my acceptance confirmation letter back in on Monday...and I am also waiting on a packet to tell me what to do next :).

The snowfall was a surprise! I just didn't like driving in it on Sunday :-). I love snow :) my daughter kept talking about making a snowman but she has a cold so I didn't let her go out and play in it!

I start June 8, at the Gainesville campus. I'm doing the bridge program. Do you know anyone else starting the bridge at Gainesville? Are you doing a bridge or regular program at Cumming? Best of luck to you.

Hello jackiemom! Unfortunately, I do no know anyone that is in or have been accepted to the bridge program. will begin the regular ASN program. I suggest you call the nursing dept to be conneted to a mentor bridge student/graduate. I wish you much success!

Hello Everyone! Hi Jackie! How did the summer bridge program go? How are you? Are you ready for the fall? I am so ready and scared at the same time. :redbeathe I will miss orientation. i will be in Florida until the 14th for military training. Has anyone registered for classes yet? Who all will be registering on September 18th? I will be there on the 18th. I have to schedule to meet with the department to get the orientation information. However can someone pm me to let me know what was VERY important to know for school. Thank you and am ready to meet and gain new friends that share the same interest in contributing to life!
