Thanks for reply..yes the interview went quite decent,I just interview with the HR and then she paged floor manager to show me around the unit (but the manager had to leave the hospital due to family issues) so the HR person invited me to the graduate nurse party that will take place in Merrivile..and I will get to know all of the mamagers..god I really wish they can hire me,I want hospital experience so bad that I'm willing to travel out of state...
So today I went for a group interview (kinda like graduate nurse tea party) at methodist (South Campus,so lovely!!) and now I'm scheduled for the third interview (this upcoming monday at methodist south campus since they have more openings there). There were couple of other "May graduates" with me complaining to the nursinf managers that they still cant find jobs (I was among them) and the nursing managers at methodist were so surprised (I guess they still think in terms of nursing shortage),anyway one of the nurse manager told the recruiter to signs us all up for a private interview with the manager of our choosen specialty (yes they actually asked as what floor we would like to start on? I wanted to say OB but I chickened out!!) Well yeah so this is the story,I let you know the final of it.
Hi to all trying to get a job at Methodist hospital. It is a great hospital where you will get a lot of good experience. Northlake is more trauma so if you like that northlake is a good place to work. I do hear a lot of complaints about how they work short staffed. But hey thats a lot of places. All in all I think it is a decent hospital to work for.
