Alabama legal professor + TV legal advisor Joyce Vance is someone I've grown to enjoy reading her writings on democracy, legal issues and commentary on TV.  Especailly because she has work-life balance knitting and raising chickens outside her Birmingham, AL home.

I'm also jealous of her knitting ability, always wanted to knit, somehow needlepoint stole my heart.  Hope to learn post emptying 105 packed boxes post moving back into renovated home.

Non farm girl --Who knew chickens come in such varieties???

Philly Home and Garden show in February featured Rent-The-Chicken display -- show charge was $500.00 + delivery for 6 months.  Crazily considering idea, called and my town permits as long as minimal noise/odor.  Need to investigate poop cleanup now.
