Newer Nurse needing tips!

Hey guys, 

so I am working in an ambulatory surgery center and I like my job, but I would eventually like to transition possibly PRN in the hospital setting for certain departments sometime in the future. I would like to know is anyone has done this type of transition before. Mind you I have never worked in a hospital before. Thanks

An easy transition could be finding work in the hospital equivalent of what you're doing now- something like pre-op, day surgery, or a procedure lab. Then you'd have your foot in the door at the hospital for switching units down the road. 

Your profile says you have 4 years of experience. I think you'll find landing a hospital job pretty easy!
