Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for the fall 2022 deadline for NYU's ABSN non-accelerated and accelerated pathway yet soo I decided too start one so we can all stress out together in these next few months of applying
Good luck to everyone. Did anyone get accepted/apply to other schools? Columbia (waitlisted) and I was accepted to Hopkins here with a decent sized scholarship... I am not sure about the NYU program. I live in NYC... major draw back for me is its a second bachlors degree and getting loans will be even more annoying. I also don't think NYU gives any merit based scholarships with their admissions decisions. The appealing part is its 15months and of course its NYC. The rent prices in the city are beyond insane again...
Looking at the loans is a killer the thought is always at the back of my head ! but I've accepted it a loan would be needed fro pretty much any Accelerated program
I think NYU meyers has some that you are automatically considered for but it almost feels like a penny compared to the full price

I just checked and my checklist is still there so it could possibly mean your decision will be coming out soon!!

I got into mount sinais program, and I’ll likely go with that based on the price. I spoke to a nurse that went to mt Sinai that had the same complaints as her fellow NYU nurses had (some professors great, some not and you need to teach yourself quite a bit).

Hello everyone,
I applied to NYU's ABSN program for the Spring 2022 start and was admitted. I had to reapply to Fall 2022 because the timing wouldn't work for me, waiting to see if I could get in the second time! Would love to start in the fall, hopefully we all find our own paths.
I would be relocating to New York and would love to hear if others are in the same situation! Kind of nervous about the prospect of finding a place to live, roommates, and all that jazz.

It was pretty quick because they are rolling admissions. They emailed me on 3/16 about a prerequisite I was missing, I told them I would take it prior to the start of the program. A week later I was contacted for an interview and got the acceptance a few days after.

I have a weird gut feeling they’ll begin releasing applications this week. Let’s hope I’m right!
