New York University (NYU) Non-Accelerated/ABSN Fall 2022

Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for the fall 2022 deadline for NYU's ABSN non-accelerated and accelerated pathway yet soo I decided too start one so we can all stress out together in these next few months of applying

For those accepted - does anyone know why the anticipated graduation date is in 2026 for a 15 month program? Is it hard to get enrolled into classes? I anticipated being done with this program in 2024.

 

I am currently choosing between three different universities so this will help my decision!

We've discussed this a lot among the members in the facebook group I created, but it's really just a glitch in the system and there's nothing to worry about. You're graduating in 2023 and that's that. Even if it says that, it makes no sense for the school to keep you any longer than the 15 months you committed to.

Nope, but I'm preparing for one. Might as well get started on that new statement.

Yeah they had that question about why you want to switch careers to nursing. It felt like a statement of purpose when I was writing it.

I haven't heard anything either.  I'm starting to look at other schools, like Mercy College, Pace. Anyone know any info on Mercy College its  cheaper than NYU, which is a plus.  But, my heart still wants to go to NYU.

NYU told me more decisions will come out the 6th, 13, and 20th.
